What I Learned from My First 10 YouTube Videos
July 28, 2025
Some movies entertain. The best ones remind you who you are.
This isn’t a “top 10” or a list of Oscar winners. These are the films I go back to over and over — because they reflect the values I live by: legacy, loyalty, disruption, independence, and the courage to lead when no one else will.
They’re part of my personal canon — the kind of movies that speak to builders, mavericks, fathers, risk-takers, and anyone chasing something bigger than themselves.
If you’re wired like me, some of these might already be favorites. If not, they’re worth your time — and maybe a spot on your shelf.
I started this article as a top 10 list, I actually plugged all the movies into ChatGPT and asked if to summarize my picks, I then took my PI index results and plugged those into ChatGPT and asked if there is a correlation between my favorite movies and my personality. After going down a rabit hole I think I better understand why these movies are ones I can go back to over and over again.
*Bonus points: I was able to ask ChatGPT to recommend more movies that I may like. Some on that list I have seen by others I had not. I am going to have to check them out to see how accurate chat is.
Note: These are Amazon affiliate links. If you pick up a film through one of them, I earn a small commission — it helps support the channel, camper builds, and maybe a few post-ride martinis.

Final Thought
These are the films that have stuck with me. They span war zones, galaxies, collapsed economies, and ancient empires — but all of them point to something true:
👉 Live with purpose.
👉 Build something that lasts.
👉 Stand for what matters, even when no one’s watching.
If you’ve got your own rewatchable canon, drop it in the comments — or send it my way. I’d love to see what fires you up.
